A Morgantown magazine Mover & Shaper, Health Care Edition.

From frontline hospital staff to indie acupuncturists, trauma therapists, and bodyworkers carving their own paths, our Movers & Shapers Health Care Edition brings you wellness professionals who are redefining what health looks like in this town.
When she first launched her business, Stacy Roman focused on chronic illness, pain management, infertility, and general wellness. In recent years, her approach has expanded to include aesthetic and body contouring treatments. “I came to appreciate that overall well-being is often impacted by how we feel health-wise and how we feel about our external appearance, prompting me to expand services to target both,” she says.
A licensed acupuncturist trained in Oriental medicine, Roman has a passion for the latest techniques and technologies. She’s found that, ancient or modern, the therapies that work are grounded in similar holistic principles. “Equipment is finally catching up to concepts that were around hundreds of years ago,” she says. “We bring this blend of tradition and innovation to our clients.”
Roman’s Wellness Center provides alternative health care made simple. The professionals at Roman’s go beyond treating symptoms to get to their root causes. And when it comes to aesthetics, the approach is anti-aging from the inside out: “If people aren’t suffering from conditions like inflammation, they won’t age as quickly.”
