Cody Clayton Eagle
voted best musician/band in morgantown in 2021

A 19-year-old country music–crooning Morgantown native upset six-time winning
Davisson Brothers Band for Best Musician / Band category this year, and everyone
who knows Cody Clayton Eagle says the accolades are well-deserved for one of
the most humble guys you’ll ever meet. Eagle first landed in the public eye when he earned a “Golden Ticket” to Hollywood, California, on the popular TV show American Idol. He returned from the experience encouraged to pursue his talent and energized to make his dreams come true.
He released his first single, “I Will Sing,” in May 2019 and has continued writing original songs, recording with an experienced group of musicians, and finding his way on stage with the likes of Jason Michael Carroll, Slaughter, George Shingleton, Charles W. Godwin, Rick K and the Allnighters, and John Moreland. “It’s really so exciting,” Eagle says. “I was definitely up against some tough competition. The Davisson Brothers Band have an amazing following everywhere, and I really appreciate my fans pushing for me.” Eagle hopes to get back to live performances as soon as COVID-19 allows. Until then, he’ll keep writing and recording. You can check out his latest releases on any digital music platform.
