Meet favorite children’s book author and illustrator Jan Brett in person December 3.
For over 40 years, from the time she released her first book, Fritz and the Beautiful Horses, Jan Brett’s vivid, lifelike drawings of animals and landscapes full of color and vibrancy have been beloved by children. The nearly 50 books by this New York Times bestselling author and illustrator include favorites The Mitten, Trouble with Trolls, and Town Mouse, Country Mouse.
Now, you can meet Brett in person—she will be in town on December 3 on tour with her latest book, Alice in a Winter Wonderland.
The free event takes place at South Middle School, where she will do a live illustration and will sign books—copies of Alice will be available for purchase. The first 100 families at the event will receive a free poster signed by the author.
Pre-registration is required for this demonstration and book signing organized by the Morgantown Public Library System and Barnes & Noble. Brett will arrive around 5 p.m. for the 6 p.m. event in a big bus wrapped in her artwork, so arrive early to get your selfies!
