Vote through May 10 in the primaries for the 2022 general election.

It’s time to vote again.
Offices in contention this year are school board and other Monongalia County positions, state-level seats in the House of Delegates and Senate, and our representation in the U.S. Congress, plus party executive committee slots and other positions.
And in today’s sharply divided political environment, the outcomes could significantly affect everything from funding for your favorite local initiatives to the national dialogues about energy, inflation, and war.
Note that you may have a new polling place this time around—the 2020 census resulted in some redistricting. If you live in Monongalia County, check your current precinct on the county clerk’s interactive map, then confirm your polling place and review your sample ballot here. For residence in any other West Virginia county, find your precinct, polling place, and sample ballot at govotewv.com.
So go vote:
- Through Saturday, May 7, you can vote early at any of four locations across Monongalia County 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday–Saturday:
- The County Election Center at the Mountaineer Mall, 5000 Green Bag Road
- The Westover VFW, 340 Holland Avenue
- The former Urse Dodge location at Pierpont Landing, 2000 Mid-Atlantic Drive
- Mason–Dixon Historical Park, 79 Buckeye Road in Core
- On Tuesday, May 10, Election Day, precinct polling places are open 6:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m.—again, confirm your polling place at the links above.
Remember to take a current, valid form of identification.
