Follow these four rolling restaurants to flavortown.
Next time you’ve got a taste for something quick and different, try some mobile munchies from Morgantown’s current fleet of food trucks. Here’s just a sampling:
Stray Cat Chimmi Shack
Stray Cat Chimmi Shack has made a name for itself with its fresh take on the Tex-Mex chimichanga. You’ll most likely find this food truck either attending a local event or occupying its lot in Star City, right off University Avenue.
Curbside Concoctions
Curbside Concoctions serves both sweet and savory crepes as well as specialty drinks. Its menu varies, but a few items you might find include the Garden Veggie Crepe and S’mores Crepe and, to drink, Blueberry Lavender Lemonade.
Rollie Pollie Egg Roll Factory
For a unique twist on a well-known dish, track down the Rollie Pollie Egg Roll Factory. BBQ Smoked Brisket, Mac ’n’ Cheese, and Pizza egg rolls are just a few of its creations. Get your egg roll with a side of fries and a drink, and follow up with the featured dessert to top it off with something sweet.
T&L Hot Dog Cart
You can catch T&L Hot Dog Cart all over Morgantown, and Dave’s Famous T&L Hot Dog restaurants can be found in seven locations throughout the state. This family-owned business is best known for its chili dogs, but it also offers coleslaw, relish, and kraut as toppings. Recently, the menu has featured nachos—served with cheese or fully loaded with chili and jalepeños.
Not sure where these roving restaurateurs will be and when? The best way to find them is to check out their Facebook pages.
