This is Cody Clayton Eagle’s second year topping the BOM charts after unseating long-time winners the Davisson Brothers Band last year. The American Idol alum, now 20, has had a busy year. Waning COVID restrictions meant more live performances as well as more travel to Nashville writing new music and recording. He’s had the opportunity to team up with industry pros who’ve worked with artists like Toby Keith and Keith Urban. But the hometown country crooner is still humbled by his second BOM win. “I can’t thank my family, friends, and fans enough for everything they do for me. They’re the reason I’m here today getting to do what I love.”
