What makes them so popular? “We just try to be honest with everybody and treat everybody fairly,” says Travis Rowan, part of the Rowan clan that bought the garage from the original Shorty in the late 1970s. Don’t look for Shorty’s posts online—the crew of five spends all their time fixing cars. We wouldn’t have it any other way.
