Orion Financial’s clients reap the benefit of large firm experience delivered right here at home. Partners Allen Poe and John Stolar left their big New York City financial management firms in search of the freedom to better serve their clients and protect them from market downturns. The pair opened Orion Financial in 2002 with a laser focus on those goals. They began working with clients through two offices, one in Morgantown—where both Poe and Stolar are from—and another in Pittsburgh.
The firm now includes two additional locations in Park City, Utah, and Greensboro, North Carolina. Orion Financial specializes in retirement planning and investments as well as long-term care planning, and Poe and Stolar feel privileged to be named Best of Morgantown. “We’re really excited about this honor, and we really think it shows people appreciate what we do and that we’re willing to help anyone.”
