It’s actually a Catholic feast day honoring the life of St. Patrick and observed by devout churchgoers since the 900s. Modern-day celebrations add inspiration from Celtic folktales—enter the leprechaun—and look quite different from those early days. Here are a few green beer-soaked, corned beef-filled, and shamrockin’ fun ways to celebrate the day in Morgantown.
