Everyone who ever biked downriver or made the drive to Point Marion, Pennsylvania, to salivate over one of Apple Annie’s mile-high meringue pies was excited when Apple Annie’s Bakery opened on Don Knotts Boulevard in 2016. Fresh, madefrom-scratch cookies, cupcakes, brownies, and all kinds of pastries as well as cakes and of course those pies are now available locally, out of the mouth-watering display case on a whim or preordered for special events.
