A Hole-in-One for Family Fun

Outdoor fun for all, from golfing to batting practice.

From winding fairways to hole-in-one celebrations, minigolf was a staple of Mason Young’s childhood vacations. After years of putting, exploring, and competing at Myrtle Beach’s famous courses, Young and his wife, Vanessa, set out to bring that same excitement and creativity to Morgantown.

Morgantown Miniature Golf, Chip-N-Putt, & Batting Cages has everything you need for a summer evening of fun. The 18-hole course challenges players from their first putt to the last hole—and the stakes are high. Anyone lucky enough to sink a hole-in-one on the final turn wins free minigolf for a year. “Since opening in 2018, a total of 51 people have made it,” says Young.

What sets this course apart is its timeless appeal. Rather than relying on elaborate themes or flashy, distracting gimmicks, Morgantown Miniature Golf embraces the classic minigolf experience families have enjoyed for generations. The course is well-maintained and reflects the pride and care of a family-owned business.

Head to the nine-hole Chip-N-Putt course if you’re looking for a different kind of golfing challenge. This attraction offers an experience similar to a par 3 golf course. “Players will use both a pitching wedge and a putter, hitting chip shots between 20 and 50 yards,” Young explains. “It’s a great place for golfers to work strictly on their short game.”

And if swinging a bat is more your style, step up to one of the five batting cages and put your skills to the test. Designed to welcome players of all ages and experience levels, the cages let visitors customize both pitch and height. Whether you’re practicing slow-pitch softball, fast-pitch softball, or fast-pitch baseball, you’ll find the perfect setup to sharpen your swing and have a fun time doing it.

As with any outdoor summer activity, make sure to bring a bottle of water and some sunscreen to stay comfortable while enjoying the course and other activities.

Whether you’re chasing a hole-in-one, crushing fastballs, or simply creating memories with family and friends, this location offers affordable pricing. Minigolf costs just $8.25 for adults, Chip-N-Putt is $6.25, and batting cages start at $7 for 10 minutes of play. Visitors can take advantage of package discounts, all of which can be found on the facility’s website.
